Gout Case Study
A 1st toe afflicted with gout. Note the large tophaceous gouty lesion and the rotation of the hallux (big toe).
2 months after foot surgery – The gouty tissue has been removed and the toe has alignment has improved. The toe will continue to improve in appearance for about 12 months.
